Does PDD replace CDD?

No, not at all. PDD is a relatively inexpensive addition to CDD which helps you to sense check what you're hearing from the junior consultants that produce CDD.

PDD builds on CDD with our own expert-led research and insights and allows you to engage and/or challenge management at your target armed with a truly expert opinion.

Do you work inside or outside for PDD?

We do both. Most of our engagements start at the outside stage but we also join you on calls with management - especially towards the end of the process where our input can be used to reassure or confirm any fears that may still be lingering, directly with the target.

How long does PDD usually take?

We're usually able to get to final readout within 2 weeks, but we check-in regularly throughout and can move faster if needed.

Does PDD start before or after CDD?

Either. There's no single answer to this. Sometimes we start at the same time, sometimes we start once you've received CDD and sometimes we start before CDD to give you a quick expert read of your target's products/market position without the expense of CDD. Any of these work well.
